Right to Information Act 2005 mandates timely response to citizen requests for government information.

It's an initiative taken by Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions to provide a– RTI Portal Gateway to the citizens for quick search of information on the details of first Appellate Authorities,PIOs etc. amongst others.

Besides access to RTI related information / disclosures published on the web by various Public Authorities under the government of India as well as the State Governments.

Get information more information on the following items, if you think that process or the outcome may not come according to your expectation:

> Driving licence
> Passport
> Entitlements to Government services etc.,

Right to Information (RTI) empowers you to seek information about the status of your request. It is quite possible that invoking RTI may, by itself, expedite resolution of your problem.

How to apply?
Just file your application with the Public Information office (PIO) of the concerned department along with Fee/or submit it through the post office.

Application Fee:
Application fee of Rs. 10/- through Cash / DD / IPO or Banker's cheque.
